Founded in 1965, Armenian Mesrobian School is the oldest Armenian‑American institution in Los Angeles County, evolving from a Saturday school into a full-time Preschool through 12th grade Armenian Apostolic private school with approximately 239 students enrolled. The school serves families from Pico Rivera, Montebello, Whittier, Pasadena, Orange County, and surrounding East L.A. communities.

Member of the CIF Southern Section International League, with a strong tradition in basketball, volleyball, and soccer. The school has won multiple league championships and academic/sportsmanship accolades over the decades .

In January 2025, Armenian Mesrobian achieved a historic moment: senior Nicholas Khatchikian scored 102 points in a single varsity game, breaking California high school records. His twin brother, Dylan, added a remarkable triple-double (35 assists) in the same contest, ending with a 119–25 victory .
🏫 Facilities & Expansion-
In March 2025, the school officially unveiled its $3 million gymnasium and facility renovation, featuring a state-of-the-art multi-purpose building designed to support athletics, cultural events, and community gatherings. The ribbon-cutting was led by Archbishop Kegham Khacherian of the Western Prelacy

Armenian Mesrobian celebrated its 60th anniversary with a Diamond Jubilee Gala on May 18, 2025, hosted at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles. The event honored longstanding educators and alumni, and California State Senator Bob Archuleta presented a formal proclamation recognizing the school’s legacy .
