A Celebration of Armenian Unity, Sport, and Culture

The Navasartian Games are among the largest and most anticipated annual events in the Armenian diaspora. Each year, they bring together thousands of athletes, families, and community members to celebrate Armenian identity, youth leadership, and sportsmanship.

Organized by Homenetmen (Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts), the Games have been held in Los Angeles, California since 1975. Inspired by the ancient Armenian festival Navasart—a time of renewal marked by games, music, and dance—the modern Games continue this legacy by promoting teamwork, cultural pride, and unity among Armenians worldwide.

🎉 The Closing Ceremony will be held on Sunday evening, featuring performances, recognitions, and a festive celebration.

Throughout the weekend, Homenetmen chapters from across the country and abroad compete in a wide range of athletic events, including:

  • Volleyball

  • Track & Field

  • Table Tennis

  • Chess

In addition to sports, the Navasartian Games offer a full cultural and family-friendly experience, featuring:

  • Traditional Armenian food and sweets
